Director Statement

BEES was put together by myself and a number of people in the short film group, Octopus Films, which I ran for a few years in Brighton. The idea was to create a repertory group for short films where we could move from one project to another, working on projects that would improve and promote our individual skills. Over the course of four years we managed to make nearly thirty short films and screened them locally and online. Whilst my main interest is horror I also enjoy absurdist humour and hopefully that comes across in the film.
